Performing Resistance Project (PRP)
PRP was created by Alvin Gubatina in Fall 2012 while coordinating at Balboa High School. The purpose of PRP is to give students the opportunity to exercise their voice, to share their narrative with others through visual, vocal or physical expression.

PEP Banquet
At the end of every school year, PEP throws a banquet to commemorate the whole year. Every student is invited to attend and enjoy activities such as eating, drinking, sports and an award ceremony for all students that attended.

PEP Community Show
Towards the end of the spring semester, from the youngest PEP Longfellow student to the oldest PEP college student and everyone inbetween participates in creating and producing a community show. In years past, the community show has taken the forms of musicals, plays, talent shows, and poster board fair.

PEP Winter Retreat
Every winter, PEP holds a winter retreat for their teachers. During the retreat - teachers reflect back on the fall semester, retool their teacher toolboxes, and prepare for spring semester.
